Frequently Asked Questions - Lebara Mobile

Where can I purchase Lebara?

Lebara Mobile SIM cards and top-up cards are available throughout Switzerland. Our Customer Services on 0840 4800 00 (free call number) will be pleased to give you the address of a dealer near you.

How do I make an international call on my mobile with Lebara Mobile?

International calls with Lebara Mobile work exactly like with other mobile networks or landlines. Simply dial the desired number: 00 + national code + STD code + telephone number + call button. The digits 00 can also be replaced by +. To send a text message to an international mobile, input the numbers in the same way. We would point out that most premium voice and text services are not available via a mobile phone service if this is not situated in the relevant country.

Why can I not use my new Lebara SIM card with my mobile?

Please check whether your mobile is authorised for using other prepaid SIM cards. As a rule, prepaid handsets are SIM-locked by the respective provider, i.e. restricted to exclusive use with the provider's SIM card.

I have lost my PIN/PUK code. Where can I find it?

Please contact Customer Services on 0840 4800 00 (free call number). Our agents will be able to provide the code after authenticating you.

I have not used my Lebara mobile for a while and now it is not working any more. Why?

SIM cards that have not been used for over 6 months are automatically blocked. The SIM card can be reactivated within the following 3 months by Customer Services (0840 4800 00 (free call number)).

I have lost my SIM card or my SIM card has been stolen. How can I prevent someone else using it?

Please contact Customer Services as quickly as possible on 0840 4800 00 (free call number). The SIM card will be deactivated and a new one will be sent to the client.

Where can I find the tariffs for Lebara Mobile?

You will find current tariff lists here.

Can I obtain a confidential telephone number?

Lebara Mobile does not pass on any customer information without obtaining your prior express consent. We then only pass on your number to directory services where you expressly indicate that you wish this, in accordance with the "opt-in" rule in Switzerland. However, your mobile number is passed on to the person you are calling or whom you are texting.
